Your Right to Data Deletion

At Palace Poker Room, we respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. In accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Mexico's Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and the European GDPR, you have the right to request deletion of your personal information.

Data We Can Delete

When you request data deletion, we will remove the following information:

  • Contact information: Name, email address, phone number
  • Profile information: Profile photo, gaming preferences
  • Reservation history: Waitlist history and table reservations
  • Authentication data: Login credentials (if applicable)
  • Communication preferences: Notification and marketing settings
  • Usage data: Browsing history and platform activity

Data We May Retain

For legal, regulatory, or security reasons, we may need to retain certain limited information even after your deletion request:

  • Financial transaction records: Required by law for 5 years
  • Regulatory compliance information: For audits and gaming regulation compliance
  • Security records: Related to fraud or security investigations
  • Anonymized data: Aggregated information that cannot personally identify you

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Through Your Account

  1. Log in to your Palace Poker Room account
  2. Go to SettingsPrivacy and Security
  3. Select "Delete my account"
  4. Confirm your identity if prompted
  5. Click "Permanently delete"

Option 2: By Email

Send an email to our privacy team with the following information:

Subject: Data Deletion Request

Include:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Reason for request (optional)

Deletion Process

Step 1: Verification (1-2 business days)

To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before proceeding with deletion. This may include:

  • Email or SMS confirmation
  • Account information verification
  • Providing official identification (in exceptional cases)

Step 2: Grace Period (14 days)

Once your identity is verified, we begin a 14-day grace period during which:

  • Your account will be temporarily deactivated
  • You will not receive marketing communications
  • Your data remains in the system but inaccessible
  • You can cancel the deletion request at any time

Step 3: Permanent Deletion (After 14 days)

After the grace period, we will proceed to:

  • Delete all your personal data from our active systems
  • Remove your data from our backups within 90 days
  • Notify third parties with whom we shared your data to delete it as well
  • Send you a final confirmation email

Response Times

  • Receipt confirmation: 48 hours
  • Identity verification: 1-2 business days
  • Grace period: 14 days
  • Complete deletion from active systems: 30 days from verification
  • Backup deletion: Up to 90 days

Consequences of Deletion

By deleting your data, please note that:

  • ❌ You will not be able to access your account or any Palace Poker Room services
  • ❌ You will lose all your game history and statistics
  • ❌ All reservations and waitlist registrations will be cancelled
  • ❌ You will not be able to recover your data once deletion is complete
  • ❌ Any benefits, points, or promotions will be permanently lost

Cancel a Deletion Request

If you change your mind during the 14-day grace period, you can cancel your request:

  1. Send an email to privacy@palacepokerroom.com with subject "Cancel Deletion"

  3. Log in to your account (if still active)

Alternatives to Complete Deletion

If you're not sure about completely deleting your data, consider these options:

Temporary Deactivation

  • Keep your account inactive without losing your history
  • Reactivate it at any time
  • Your data remains protected but is not deleted

Limit Data Use

  • Disable notifications and marketing communications
  • Revoke specific data use permissions
  • Keep only essential information

How long does the complete process take?

The complete process can take up to 30 days for active systems and up to 90 days for complete backup deletion.

Can I create a new account after deleting my data?

Yes, you can create a new account at any time, but it will be completely new without any previous history or data.

What if I have a pending legal dispute?

If you have an active legal dispute, we may need to retain your data until the matter is resolved.

Will my data be deleted if I log in with Facebook?

Yes, we will delete all data that Palace Poker Room has, but your Facebook account will remain active. You must manage your Facebook data directly on that platform.
